What difficulty did/are you playing DOOM3 in?

I am just wondering… for a bit of run ya know.
So. Was it:
Recruit (easy,)
Marine (medium,)
Veteran (hard,)
Or Nightmare (very hard.)

I’m playing it in Veteran, and I’m finding it a bit easy. I always seem to have enough health to get to the next medi kit with out strategically playing. What do you people think? I will finish it this weekend.

Played in Marine and Veteran. Both very easy. Haven't tried nightmare yet, but since I know where all the surprises are and you get the soul cube in the beginning it shouldn't be hard either. Doom 3 does not present a chanllenge for any serious FPS players, now farcry is a different story.

I played through on veteran difficulty. For veteran difficulty I thought it was pretty easy, but the last game I played through SP was far cry, and that pretty much ruins your basis of what hard really is.

Hello,

I went threw on veteran it was not to bad. i am now running threw it in Nightmare with cheats on it is not to bad i installed the flashlight mod to give it a try and a few others to see if it inproved the game play any. But i must agree Frycry is much harder to run threw i keep geeting killed on the carrier over and over and over again.

I played it in hard because you can only get better if you have alot of trouble getting past a bit in the game.... wel thats what I reckon.

I rushed through on Veteran, but missed stuff, like to soul cube, and never did end up beating the boss.

I'm playing in marine now. It isn't hard at all, but too lazy and don't have the time to start over.
